Electric Power

Electricity is supplied by Alabama Power Company, the City of Alexander City, Central Alabama Electric Cooperative or Tallapoosa River Electric Cooperative, depending on your company's location. Both primary and transmission voltage services are available throughout the Lake Martin area.

Water Systems

The Lake Martin area is fully prepared for the future, and new industries can be assured their needs will be met. After multi-million dollar renovation projects to water filter plants, both Alexander City and Tallassee have an excess water supply. The region also has sufficient waste water treatment facilities, while solid waste disposal is effected through the land fill method.

A number of natural and propane gas companies service our area - all of which are more than happy to go the extra mile to meet all homeowner and business needs.

Fiber Network

Alexander City is now a Point of Presence (POP) on ITC^DeltaCom's fiber network which offers an additional resource to attract business and industry to the area. With this new local, reliable access to the fiber backbone, businesses in Alexander City now have the dedicated telephone, data, and Internet services needed to compete in the Information Age. For more on this new service, read the press release found here.
